Maserati gransport?
I know that this is a random question, but does any one else here like the maserati Gransport? I mean at 90 grand for a brand new one, and now you can pick one up with like 15k on it for 40 grand, it seems like a good deal. Not only that, it looks nice, it has a v8
, a lot more rare then your everyday 911, the equast note it almost as good as any ferrari, and its italian. I mean this is like the perfect midlife crisis car(not having a mid-life crisis, to young) for those on a budget right? I could be wrong and it could be just a cheap way to own a maserati, but i think it's good. Input would be nice

Does it drive? I would be all over it.
You all sound foolish...If you see a car like these and the first thing that comes to mind , is what the person can't afford, your missing the point.
When you have a nice sunny day and you step on the gas and hear the engine ring, that is one of the main reasons for buying them...Different flavor, that's all . It's still allot of car for the money...I personally would do the maintence myself, because I enjoy it. No other reason.

I was simply responding to UberNoob's point that a Maserati is tells people you have money and class. I don't agree with that at all, especially compared to a Ferrari

i know i'm not supposed to post links, but theres and example of one. personally, id go with the traditional manual and not the flappy paddles. and thetopdog, i do sort of agree with you, but as i said before, some people would just rather have th ferrari due to it's low key nature, at least i would

i know i would be chep, but this is the maserati i would get, traditional manual with the color combo i want and all the options it has i would have chosen myself. The miles are a bit higher then i would want, but w/e

You can argue all day about what a Maserati vs Ferrari or any other car for that matter, but the fact of the matter is, to the lay observer, not highly car knowledgeable people such as our fellow forum members, will think you spent a fortune because of the name on the back and honestly, that is part of the draw.
No it does not handle like a Porsche and it will not be as fast as a Ferrari or even a Z06, but it has style and for $40K, it is a great way to enjoy the fruits of midlife crisisness and still have money in the bank for Later life crisisness!
Disclaimer...Beware of Maintenance!

For the price, I would rather get the Quattroporte instead of a 760i or S600. Definitely more posh...
I actually like it. It has certain details that I would like to change such as the Kia-esque taillights or the Buick-esque side vents, but otherwise is a very well made and detailed vehicle.

The Quattroporte is God, screw the s600 and 760, the maserati i cheaper, better looking, and a lot more fun. and with any italian car, the exhaust note is pure sex, no one can deny it
I love the new Quattroporte..seen a couple already, the only thing that i don't like is their tailights because it looks dated. But if I had a choice between an s63 and a Quattroporte that would definitely be a hard choice!
s63 yes, s600 no. but honestly, i would still choose the masrati because ive wanted a maserat for ever even before ferrari or lamborgini, of course back in pre-k, know one really knew what a maserati was haha
I just spotted a Maserati GranTurismo on the road about an hour ago - I'd never seen one or even knew about that model. All I can say is WOW... it was gorgeous. I'm surprised the guy had it out - it's about 40 degrees and foggy, wet and gross here in the Chicago burbs.
I'm no where near being able to afford such a car, but for $110k it doesn't seem like it's too outrageous of a price for that type of car.
