Would have been OK for some markets (no LED's for the 600hL in places like HK & Singapore), but this is a pretty big oversight for a USA brochure, & they have different brochures for different markets too, but I think many won't notice even here though ...

Lexus USA REALLY needs to get their act together .
This is just another ridiculous mistake in a long line of mistakes that have been happening for a while now with Lexus USA. A whole bunch of mistakes were made on the GS460 press release.
I hope some Toyota people are reading this, these mistakes are embarrassing.

Don't worry, they started a quality campaign in 06 and you'll see the fruits of it eventually

It was once more common than it is now with the electronic press. So many hands were involved in the layout, prepress, and press checks, that there was always bound to be a slip. The last check you perform before committing a brochure to ink is to check and re-check the photos. I don't know how many times some typesetter has jumbled the color separations and we were lucky to catch a disaster in the making . . . and thousands of copies of it as well. Somebody's going to have a lot of birdcage liner . . .
Sometimes the final checks are performed by someone who has no clue about the product, and that can be expensive. Prevention of these embarrassing mistakes takes some strict organization, clear assignments and responsibilities . . . and a sign-off sheet written in blood. . . .

Brochures have, in recent years, become less important than in the past.......many people today get the info they need from the Internet and web sites. I myself use the old-fashioned brochures only for accurate color chips (the websites are lousy with that), some spec and package references, and to have something entertaining to look through while eating lunch after a review (I usually stop at my favoite places to eat after a review).

This is part of Toyota's 'value innovation' VI program.
But gee, they saved a few thousand on the brochures using stock photos they already had.
So what if the get the picture wrong for the most sophisticated and expensive Lexus ever made.
