^^^ "Old Fashioned"

Then who does Lexus cater to with the LS lol?

I actually see more 40-50 yr olds generally driving 7 series. it is definitely the more sporty and hip of the premium luxo brands.
Whereas I see more 70-100 yr olds driving the LS...

Steering wheel is very different.
Looks like my Great Grand Aunts living room, no thanks. The Quattroporte's rear 10" screens fit much better in the rear seats.

Why is it that even on the 7 series, you still have to plug in your key? I know it probably has the option so you don't have to, but on the 7-series?

Talk about woods galore
I like that ext. color

Yeah, since my fingers are already on the key, I might as well turn it instead of taking if off and pushing the start button. I find that a little weird too.

I still prefer the old E65 exteriors.

Black interior seldom works for me in almost all high end luxury cars. I don't feel it once I've sat in it, compared to the ambience of a light interior of the same car . . .

I'm with you here. In my area in FL, LS460 are definitely more common than 7ers but I guess with that age bracket more old people want pillow soft rides. I have yet to see somebody under the appearance of ~45 driving an LS while 7 drivers are a lot younger (760 exempt, but I guess few younger people have the money to be able to get the 760 instead of the 745/750)

Looks nice and those back seat LCD screens! Wow.

But as for the ignition, they do need to go to something like "smart key". This BMW system requires TWO steps for startup. Nevermind that you have to push the break peddle to start it (like the 5 series).

I don't think 7-Series are that old. Those are the manual shift buttons I believe.

I was actually told by my BMW dealer (been working for them 10yrs) that after a poll/survey of previous gen 7 owners that for whatever reason they wanted the fob and push button both...
Oh well, no big deal for me.
