Ohh gotcha. I knew a kid who did that with his dad's new Z3. We didn't see him at all that summer.

A couple of sidebags, a top case, a backpack, and a tank bag = SUV cargo capacity...

Hey Mike...remember me? I'm the guy you got the es300 wheels from about a year and a half ago in Charlotte when you and Dave stopped by.

Thanks for setting up the poll. I'll refrain from voting since I'm the one who's asking for comments. If I know my wife, she will most likely go with the RX but I want her to drive the others as well. I would suspect that the Infiniti EX will be the last choice since it appears to be on the small side for storage and would most likely cost the most $ to buy.

Yeah I remember, I need to take some pics for you, the car looks great with the wheels.

I'm not married but it seems the internet law is "get what the wife wants" lol

Happy New Year!

Question Badge

Just curious: does the badge mean anything to you? I noticed your initial 3 choices were all luxury brands. If so, that could be a strike against the Highlander.

Not at all. Just overlooked the fact that the Highlander was re-designed. Based on pictures, the interior looks very nice. However, with the exception of the RX350, we need to see and drive the other three models. I get back in Charlotte on Monday and our search will begin.

That is very true. She's the one who will be driving it. If my son had taken and totaled my GS430, SUV's would not be in this thread

Subaru Tribeca. All new 3.6L, regular gasoline, award winning interior. Whats not to like?

What's not to like?
Wierd, swoopy V-shaped console (echoed in the new Impreza), cheaper-feeling climate control buttons/dials than on other Subarus, lack of two-tone paint for the top version like other Subarus, ugly snout on the first-gen model, lack of wood paneling inside, and cheap-looking painted silver interior plastic like on newer Toyotas. (Hey.........I'm a Subaru fan myself but I criticize the company where I think it is merited)

Other than that, an excellent vehicle........with one of the best AWD systems in the buisness.
