What's the question? That article says the US will get a 4 door version based on the new Lancer body.
But from what I had heard it was going to use the EVO IX drivetrain.

Mitsubishi pull out of the 2004 year to develop their 2005 WRC rally car. After its utter failure, as a manufacturer, Mitsubishi has not competed in the WRC since. +1 to Urabus!

Well, they can't make it much more aggresive than this because if they do, it will rob too many new 2008 Evo sales. It will probably take a number of sales away from the Evo as it is....the Ralliart will be substantially less expensive, just as the WRX undercuts the STi's price.
