I remember a long time ago trying to "correct" someone when they said that Subaru's were Japanese, I said that they were Austrailian; and it was because of that damn commercial!

Not only cars, Ford F-150 has a drop window. Visibility issue?

probably so that they can fit a larger mirror which helps.
