I had a W140 in my first year of college as a daily communte.. everything you can imagine will break on that car.... power window.. door, trunk, ac, tranny..motor..everything
I was a poor student and I had to bring that junk to MB dealer just about everyweek to have things fix.. luckliy it was under warrenty but for me it was such a hassle I wasn't old enough to get a rental so I always have to ask somene older to go with me to help me get a rental
so back then I get to drive those little C230 Kompressor(old school one) to class quite often.. those are not bad.. but W140

I thought those were praised as the "mercedes" back then, the one before the chrysler merger. I love those mega-sedans as they were called

Yes!!! the W140 has endless problems, my family had 2 early and late model and I spend a lot of time with them... back then it was cool cause they are like the biggest car out there but having one is nightmare...door won't close, trunk won't close.. I still see those W140 running around most with their trunk sticking up
I don't know how many times I call roadside assistant because there were problems.. one time the window won't close and it was WINTER time hoilday dealer was close roadside assistant came and took out the door penal cut a piece of wood throw in it to support the window so it will close and he did it right in the middle of parking lot.. I will never forget that... Also they are fat and overwight.. drive like a tank but it is not bulletproof...W140 = junk

well as I'm newbie here still looking for my first GS that was the reason I came here first to get some advices from real Lex Pros, so here I am checking these thread I got say really interesting as my family is big Benz admirer we never had anything but a benz (not the ballers like tomlex

Thanks for looking at my S63/M6, I'm thinking about only light mods for my cars at this time, too busy now.
