Yes, definitely, if you are going back, avoid those high heels............especially at a place like a car show, where you are walking and are on your feet for hours. They can be murder on a woman's feet, toes, and lower leg muscles. I know that some of the show girls up on the turntables wear them....but they usually just go through their prepared scripts describing the car, take a few questions after that (though they are usually not the product "specialists" that their badges claim), and then go sit down and relax for a while and let their feet and legs recuperate.

When I go to the D.C Auto Show each January (and, with my free passes, I'm usually there 3 or 4 days) I always wear comfy, well-padded walking/athletic shoes.....sometimes with extra-padded inserts and thick socks......and still I'm sometimes sore at the end of the day. But we'll see how it goes this time....I'm down 30 lbs since retiring in August, and my feet and legs are back in shape from a LOT of walking and excercise.
