in those countries, the octane rating they use is different

95 there is equivalent to 91 octane here in north america

RON vs MON

you can get 100 octane unleaded race gas from at select 76 and Sonoco in CA...i have a pump down the way from my work that i fill up my race/hobby Evo for...

Just get some fuel additive like BG 44k or some Lucas stuff. It can boost your octane to over 100 (i think)

You do not want to get those octane additives like Torco....it will leave a filthy deposit on your valves overtime causing additional engine damage. It is always best to buy straight rated gas....

As Uber said, the 95, 98 etc. outside the U.S. is a different calculation, so it's not greater than say 91 or 93 U.S. Premium.

Thats almost how you'd pay to get a full tank in Saudi Arabia. You might have to fork out a few dimes though to top it off to the nozel

Liters are a smaller form of measurement thereby making it more expensive. So 8.60 per gallon is cheaper than 8.60 per liter.

1 US gallon = 3.785 litres
1 UK gallon = 4.546 litres.

In the UK, petrol (gas) has now reached £1 per litre, or, at current exchange rates ($2.10 to the £), $7.95 per US gallon. Basically, it's $135 to fill up my IS250. I suppose it looks a lot worse at the moment since the dollar is so weak on the international currency markets. Who knows how low it will sink when the Chinese start dumping dollars for Euros.

And right now in the US, we're all hurting and complaining about $3.00 / gal for regular. I filled up the SC today for $53.00. It will only last me about 6 days. At $7-$8 a gallon, most of us would probably have to walk to work.

and gallon of milk gonna cost around 6$-7$.
Man.............my respect for those Europeans who has big engines
It sound like a PRIUS over there would be my car.Calculate how much you save.................I just did.......................Good vacation with family for a week.
And this just for 1 car.If you have 2 or more cars fill up everyweek.

Yeah imagine driving an AMG or Lambo or Range Rover or something over there. Probably a good $200 to fill with gas for a week!
