Not much to add to what has been said in terms of the rather strange group of cars they put together for this. I finally had a chance to drive the Maserati and I have a hard time figuring out what car it competes with on any level, maybe the CL but that doesn't set well with me either having driven it. Other than price and image, it isn't the mix with the other three IMO. So the Maser came in 1 for being considerably different from the other 3 if nothing else.

Now for the hard part. I am shopping more or less in this league right now and the S550 would be number 1 of what's left for me. I have to be fair and say that I am not considering either the Jag or the 600h. But if I were driving these cars for a couple of weeks, for a review, especially if I were in the mountains, I wouldn't have any trouble picking the Jag ahead of the 600h. The Jag is an old design and Jag certainly has problems but like the A8, the car itself is a pretty good piece. If people didn't have so many other reasons to not by a Jag, more people would be impressed by that car. So an LS with something like 700 pounds of batteries that isn't exactly a ballerina in the non-hybrid version, and no trunk, came in third. Please note I did not say last, just third in this group. It's a pretty fair assessment IMO because just as difficult a time I have figuring out the competition for the Maser, the buyer for the 600h is a pretty unique person and I doubt they can find anything that it competes with. It doesn't get Prius mileage and it isn't Miata nimble but it is unique and it does make a statement. But, once again, if I'm driving it for a couple of weeks for a review, I don't think it would impress me very much either. But still, this was a strange collection to pit against one another.
