You are so right. It's like that with all goals in life, though, not just cars. I think the key is to never be content, but to always be happy, no matter where one is with one's goals. Originally Posted by Maximus350

Anyway, to answer the OP's question, here are the vehicles I would like to own (purchase or lease, whichever) before setting a new goal:
1. M3 coupe
2. E63 AMG wagon
3. Boxster S
4. M5 (sedan)
5. 911 Turbo coupe
6. Range Rover (supercharged)
7. CLK(63 AMG cab)
8. 760Li
9. SL600
10. CL600
11. 911 GT3
12. S600
This is easy. Any Lexus, since I fell in love with Lexus in the year 1993 when I was 7 I wanted a Lexus. But a Lexus IS 250AWD would be good enough. Other than a Lexus maybe any Porsche too.

Lead Lap
either an SL63 or an LP640 for my daily drivers.
something a little more exotic for my track car,,

Amazing, isn't it, how so many guys lust after high-powered or exotic sports cars? Yet, so many times, if/when they finally GET one, and have to live every day with the harsh ride, high noise level, expensive service, scraping and damaging the low body panels over every road irregularity, and having to bend oneself into a pretzel just to get in and out of it, it doesn't take long for them to change their minds...........and then it's just one more used sports car for sale on E-Bay, and time for whoever buys it to learn the very same lessons all over again.
This, of course, is not ALWAYS the case, but it happens more than you would think.

However, before I die, I definately want to go buck wild on Germany's Autobahn, or do a drive from Italy to China a'la Marco Polo. The experience would be sooo much better than any car.
What car are we going to use for the Italy/China trip? Toyota land cruiser maybe? However, before I die, I definately want to go buck wild on Germany's Autobahn, or do a drive from Italy to China a'la Marco Polo. The experience would be sooo much better than any car.
