C'mon... No need to mock me... I was just toying with the idea. A V8 powered RX would be pretty cool, IMO. And obviously it is some sort of test and not a finished product. Maybe I should have called it a test mule...

A few questions occurred to me . . .
Why would Lexus test a fully-badged prototype?
Why would the prototype, except for the front bumper and interior, be identical to the current production model, on the streets since mid '03?
Why a prototype in "Savannah Metallic", a production color, rather than the usual hard-to-photograph flat black?
A 24" CRT would occupy most of the dash - and be about 18" deep - to what purpose? Why not an LCD?
Was Xzibit in the car too?

because it's the mechanics that they're testing (the car, not the people
). So a regular body RX (except the bumper) will draw less attention than a camouflaged model.

maybe the old lady was a heavy alcoholic and she was required to drive her car with all the gears because they need to know her BAC??? and the bumper of the car was missing the bottom middle part because she crashed into a low brick wall... ahahaha jk
