Exclamation Slightly Modded 335i... Runnin w/ New M5!

Yes! You read right!
Well this car is definitely now in my Top 5 Sports Cars/Coupes to get next year. I've been considering the upcoming GT-R, M3, and even Z06, but the 335i Coupe MUST be considered with it's overall sexy looks, great interior, and the service I've been getting at BMW has been nothing less than stellar!
Now this...

I can't think of a overall nicer car with this kind of power, comfort, style, brand new?

*Edit*

I say slightly cause I consider major modding to be Engine builds, replacing stock Turbos etc.
His mods: 335i mods : Procede v2, custom tune, Custom dp, custom exhaust, custom FMIC.

yup, my friend told me about the runs yesterday. that's with the new v2 chip and also tuned. i remember my friend said it's putting down 375whp and something over 400tq

it's really crazy. the m5 couldn't even touch it. i am pretty sure this car already killed the new m3

Does anyone have the contact info of that guy?

I would gladly give him a free dyno session so he can quantify his gains, since he's in the SF Bay Area. Some of these stories are getting really outrageous and street racing is NOT a good indicator of power.

I believe that shops info is there in that thread. But let me also say this... I'd much rather see a car in action as this than reading about it's "alleged" numbers. The video above is pretty convincing!

imho, i agree. personally i would rather see the car walking away from m5 than giving me numbers which is only part of the whole story

I am not an advocate of street racing to answer questions about power. Give me 1/4 mile times at the track or a dyno figures. Street racing is mostly about driver skills, is dangerous, and just plain @#$%en stupid.

And yes I am familiar with Shivnu's [sic] work, as I have met him personally myself and dyno'd his 911 Porsche TT. I'm more interested in the car, and its safety parameters (AFRs / boost levels / etc.).

lol great interior. While impressive, an engine running like that isnt going to last long unless he plans to strengthen the internals later. Assuming his 400 hp 400 torque figure is true its not really surprising it can beat a heavier, less torque, higher hp car. Its still another FI car vs an N/A car, the N/A car is at a big tunability disadvantage already

a lot of people doubt the gains on the car, and im not a big bmw fan myself... but we're not seeing any blown engines and the cars are performing. so i think some credit should be given

however, i would not go so far as to compare the 335i to the upcoming gt-r...

There has not been any track runs with ProceedeV2 because the upgrade is not out yet. The video shows the car with one of the only units out there.

The times on dragtimes are for Proceede v1.47 which everybody runs. Procede v2 gives you 40 more hp on top of v1.47.

At this point 335s can run with M5s and the video proves it. M5 will pull away after 120mph but thats when 1/4mile is over. Also don't forget that the m5s in the video are moded.

My v2 upgrade is coming next week
