=1SICKLEX;2870102This is laughable. I can't believe people bought this for over $50,000. A 2003 model

A 1999 model
You know what P.T. Barnum said, don't you? (There's a ****er born every minute).

ugly front end, identical copy of Expedition from the side, lack of some sort of flares or cladding to be different from Tahoe or Yukon, the only thing I like is the new interior, and hopefully they finally come with telescopic steering as SPWolf mentionned, I'd rather buy a Tahoe, atleast it has a badass looking front end and will cost alot less

I'm not sure leasing a Tahoe or Denali would be that much less, I think those are still around $500 per month.

So would you guys take the Escalade or a Range? Ranges, down here at least, are probably THREE times more common than Escalades, they are everywhere. They must give them away down here somewhere.

This is all I have to say about the Range Rover:

BMW gave Ford a ridiculously complicated and expensive truck with an out-dated engine.

Again, don't forget about the new Land Cruiser...

Noted but... the interior still looks like crap compared to the likes of the new LX. Column shifter? I thought this was a luxury suv in 2008, not a station wagon from 1973

I didn't say I'd feel "guilty" about it. I said I'd feel SICK about it.

The Caddy interior looks a little classier, but obviously the LX wins in the material feel and quality department.

To each his own, I have no issues with the new Escalade I like it much better than the new goofy grilled Denali, and the soon to come out Highlander opps Land Crusier. The Range R is the nicest but the issues they have is just rediculous, I wont go into all the complaints many of my associates have had. I would have to say that the new Tahoe is very very handsome with some nice wheels.

Cheap-calades. I love how fools think that the 2007 models are fast.
I cant count the times ive had fools in them try to race me in my stage1 evolution mr.

A land cruiser is a way better truck. For real who would pay 60-70k for all that cheap GM bling.

I drove my Friend's 04 Cady, the first time I sat in threr, I goes, what? this is a 50K truck? My 99 LX 470 feels much much better quality! and the design of the 2 Gen was just awful!!
and then my friend bought a 07, the first impression is " wow, what a nice interior! " and then, if you really sit in the car and touch the panels, you still feel cheapness.

Honestly, I think it looks ok. Just too much Bling. 21" chrome stock wheels. More chrome stripes than your wife's jewelry case and big enough throw a party in there to make you broke. Is it neccesary for anyone to buy a dressed up Chevy Tahoe (or what ever the model its based on). Thats just my opinion. If you really like Escalades go for it.

I disagree - I think the center stack on the new LX "looks like crap" sticking out in all shiny black plastic.

Har har, but console shifters are really a complete waste of space. Gee guess who also abandoned them - BMW in the 7 series.

My thoughts on the Escalade are biased, due to my general
disdain for SUVs. Do SUV drivers even know that these things
are equipped with turn signals? I love how owners of these
things try to "bully" their way into and out of traffic. Turds.

I'm no environmentalist, but I personally don't care for the
message driving one of these pigs sends to others.

If you need to haul people or stuff, buy an Odyssey!

I know people argue "I need to tow my such-and-such..."
I have never seen an Escalade towing anything larger than a
Jet Ski trailer.

Have fun at the gas station.
"Mister Johnson: that'll be $94.50. See you tomorrow!"
