If they made that $40,000 197hp Mugen Civic in a convert, I would get that.

For the topic @ hand, I voted sky, however for the price of a well-equipped sky redline, you could get a really nice nsx or a decent nsx & a miata or early s2k.

None for me, I will not be happy driving them.

I was going to buy a Sky Redline for 2 years now but keep waiting because of the drive train problems and poor fit and finish. I'm hoping the 2009's will be better, but I'm not holding my breath. By the time they fix the mechanical problems I'm sure the Toyota FT-HS will be out and I'll just get that.

Maybe for 30k I'll just get a used 911.

The Miata and S2000 blow them both away, quality-wise, but between the two of them, the Sky's the limit.......it has a better interior and front end. The Solstice, in comparison, looks like a buck-toothed beaver getting ready to taste a tree trunk.

Web site says 0-60 in 5.5 (vs. 7.2 for regular) - that isn't slow.

And speed is about more than just straight line acceleration.

The Solstice front-end is pretty ugly to me. The Sky on the other hand, looks good. It kinda reminds me of a VX220, especially the headlights.

I would buy neither, but to answer the question, Sky.

Neither, because the Miata owned them before they were even conceived. I don't think you can even get HIDs or proper head-torso combination airbags on the Skystice.
