Anyone know what year and model this Benz is? TIA

 

Could be a 190 E from the early 90's?

 

It's a W124 E-class(produced 85-95), but not sure about the year . . .

 

looks like a 190 and its lookin tough.

 

E190 aka baby benz. God thats my favorite body I dont know which year but they had vents on the C pillar.

it was the last car MB decided to over-engineer. There's tons of the left on the road today.

if you want one, get an EVO I or EVO II

 

those mercedes are actually the reliable ones

 

I thought the 190E's had some vents at the bottom of the C pillar.

On a side note, I've been fortunate enough to have driven the 190e 2.5-16.

 

I would beg to differ on the maintenance of these vehicles based on my family's experience. We still have two little 190Es, both 2.6s, and 87 and a 93, that we still keep running, but parts are not cheap and there is always something to go wrong, despite coming from a mechanical family and taking preventative action. Next vehicle without a doubt will come from the Toyota/Lexus family, though the story in our family is we keep vehicles to last, not to sell to the next person.

That certainly does match up to a 190E in the picture, as the 300E had little headlight washers.

 

I was just about to say, didn't 300E have the same body too? I just didn't know such a detail as headlight washers.

 

It was actually headlight wipers. 1987 190e was the car back in 86-87.. Dudes were blasting Eric B. and Rakim in those cars back in the day in NYC.

 

It is an E class. You can tell from the height of the grill and the trim on the C pillar.
