Its about that time.

Does anyone know when Lexus will announce the 2007 Taste Of Lexus tour. I know last year they announced it in early july but was not sure if the dates are about the same. Im hoping this years event has the IS-F and LX570 as well as the new LS600HL for us to drive. Any ideas thoughts or hopes for this years event.

I went last year, will DEFINATLY be going again this year. I REALLY hope they have the IS-F there, but i'm not counting on it.

IS-F will probably be there for sure but dunno about some random people driving it, that engine in it is pretty violent. They always use the ToL events to debut new models for the upcoming year

They'll just have to remember that it's a driving event they're having, and that the IS-F is about the only thing closest to a true driver's car they'll have to offer.

its going to have to be real controlled, i bet 90% of the people that come to these cant handle any vehicle like the IS-F

They did offer the rare GS450h for test drive in previous events, so odds are still pretty good that they'll offer the IS-F. At worst they'll let people take joy rides with a pro driver like Audi did with the RS4 (after some stupid jackasses doing irresponsible driving on highway).

IS-F won't be around at all venues unfortunately. There's the only one Ultrasonic Blue that will be going back to Japan after July, but 4 will come back around August into September for a long lead press release day and SEMA. I will ask them when it will be scheduled for this year.
