I thought the same until I educated myself. Less than 20% of the car is crossover and it is all things like windshield wiper motors, relays, etc... No major crossover parts. Jag designed majorily all of the car.

The CLK will send that little kitten whining home if it ever tries it.

As has been said , amazing shots. The stable ain't too shabby either, lol. The CLK W208 is still one of my all time favorite cars produced. Thats gonna be a classic. And that leaping cat gives the the spirit of ecstasy flying lady a run for her money.

Nice cars... I have a Jaguar XJ8 L and a S Type-R as well and the cars have been rock solid in service as well... I can honestly say that my XJ8 has been more reliable of a auto for me than my Lexus I owned.. Plus Jag has been super in the JDPower.com ratings for many years.

And SType-R is a $65,000 Monster luxury sports sedan! 0-60 in 5 secs aint bad either!!

Classic styling and posh image that deep in history!!!

And to the member that keep talking about the "few" Ford components... SO WHAT! Lexus has Toyota components... Caddy uses Chevy... Infinit uses Nissan.... Bentley uses Audi/VW... Chrysler used Benz. Jag XJ8...XK8, Benz Sclass, BMW 7series used the same transmission for years... 95% of auto manu share components... engines, guages, technology, axles...

As long as a car gets better every model/year that's the end result... IMO...
