Just found out on one of the other 240sx forums that its a base with se swap.

Yeah....that guys dreaming.....(or looking for a sucker)
Asking above market for a clone. (hell...above market for an SE)

And with a reconditioned title.....it was probably totalled...then cloned from there.

It pays to to do some homework.

They're still in now. In fact the newest motors to swap into them are 1jz and 2jzs!!! Its kinda scary how easy it is to swap them; the wiring harness is the only real tough part and it can be done for you if you don't feel like doing it.

My friend wants to let his 92 SR20 S13 go. He's got the S13 front-end, some nice wheels to go with it; and it runs around on DRs nowadays. Has a GT2871R turbo running around 20psi, 264 cams, greddy intake mani, 720 injectors, and a 50 shot of nitrous etc... should be dynoing around 500whp. His car is scary fast for what little is done to it. He 60's 1.5s on DRs, its a crazy machine. Wants about $11k for it I think. Not bad considering the car's reputation around these parts. Everyone wants to beat his car.

are you kidding me? definitely do not pay 8k for this car. an auto on top of that? god what has Sports Compact Car done to the resale value or 240s. i guess being their cover car every other month does things. my cousin has a 97 and my friend had a 94. both loved it, and i believe both drive it pretty hard. i would wait it out though. personally, i'm not a big fan of nissan's red.

i don't know if it was just my friend's 240, but it was one hell of a loud car stock. not sure i'd want it for a long work commute. could very well be his car though.

I will never forget, when I was selling my Stock '93 high milage 5-spd SC300 last year a guy offered me a straight trade for his 450whp s13, only catch was I had to go up to PA for the trade and since I didn't trust the SC for the 1000 mile trip I had to pass.
