Even in Red it still doesn't do it for me. The front half is okay but the rear is just wrong.. very hideous in fact. And the wood trim? LOL

I predict they will sell 5 of these the first month, barely edging out
the Phaeton and the Q45.

like the color and the wheels.. i hate the wheel gap on the front and the front fascia.. it doesnt flow very well imo.. also, i agree with the comments about the interior.. the wood is lame.. wheres the concept styling?!?!? that thing looked 1000 times better..

It'll sell like crazy, but that doesn't mean it looks good.

It may not look very good but it is real wood, I believe "rosewood" with the flat no gloss look. I am sure it will sell as Nissan gives great lease residuals on the G35 and M35/45 and its not a bad car at all, just its one big selling point on the previous car, great looks, is now lost.

Its going to have to sell on other merits now. While I am sure it will perform fantastic, most people who buy this car just want a stylish looking 2 door like most coupe buyers.

IMO, it should sell 2,000 copies a month once the price holds.

Is it just me or it has a Pontiac G6 look at the rear?

^i agree, but i dont think the new car looks bad at all... it just doesnt look as good as the concept and as good as we all know it COULD have been. problem is, a vast majority of the people that buy the car probably dont remember the concept all that well, if they ever saw it to begin with. so, theyll think it looks good enough... and lets face it- its far from ugly. so even if its PAR for the segment, which i dont think it is, that other merit you're referring to would be the interior, which is much improved.

but at the end i agree...

2,xxx copies/month shouldnt be a problem though. i even think it can do the 2,500/mo the Gc used to do.

Good point of it "not" being an ugly car. Though I need to see it in person to compare to the E92 3.

I can go with other Lexus models for refinement & luxury.
Only if Lexus had an IS coupe with the IS-F engine. That would be nice performance wise...

the only fault with the car is the fact that it has a bubbly butt. if they edge it and flattened it like in the concept and prev gen then itd be perfect.
