Lexus never compares themselves to anyone in their commercials.

Lexus doesn't have a superiority complex...

 

This reminds me of Ford's old advertising campaigns for the Granada in the 70's, anybody remember these? They had a whole series comparing the Granada to Mercedes... even had a spoof on SNL where a Rabbi was doing a baby's circumcism in the back of a Granada-like car.

 

I wonder if they hired the old ad agency back?

 

it just shows they were just as delusional back then. The old school benzo is a classic ride, the granada literally makes me cringe.

Oh man..... those Granadas bring me back. My parents had one when I was a child. It was a silver 4 door model and I used to sit in the front center seat all the time since the shifter was via steering column. This was probably back then when they didn't conclude yet that you probably shouldn't seat your child in front. I think there was only a lap belt too.
