Who Rocked The House in January Franchise Sales?
Who rocked the house when it came to overall sales per franchise in January?
If you were a betting man, you would say Toyota, and you would be correct. But who is number two, Honda?
No, it actually is Lexus.
It seems that being a part of a Lexus franchise is getting to be a really lucrative proposition as of late. Actually in December 2006 Lexus franchises outsold even Toyota to be the number one selling franchise in the gift giving month.
The top ten for January rounded out with Chevrolet, the lone domestic in the top 10, in a distant last place. Mustering only 36 cars and truck sold on average per franchise, Chevrolet was even out stripped by Hyundai averaging 55 vehicles sold in January.
BMW and Mercedes Benz also proved they can play with the big boys in the Japanese dominated market, by placing 5th and 7th respectively for the month.
