You don't wax it, you just hand wash and you're done!
Flats are really easy to maintain, ESPECIALLY if you use the BASF treatment (I think its a mix-in for the clear?)
It's single stage, just like every single stage job; you just don't add any gloss.
As for care, they are easy in that they don't scratch easily, but hard in that every little touch creates a mark. They're super hard to dry uniformly. Most guys with flat black bikes actually just use windex on them. I think Harley even recommends it, heh.
I really dislike the flat look. It looks unfinished. Why would I want a nice looking car that looks undone. I don't get it.....I guess I don't have to get it.

Mean is okay but there are other ways to give the car a mean look. I prefer my car to look cool. A flat black Porsche isn't mean. It's less sporty. A flat black Ferrari is less exotic. A flat black Benz is less teutonic. I don't get it. I really don't get this fad bandwagon. Most of us have similar tastes but we're waaay off on this one.
i love flat black, but only on certain cars. i especially like when they're flat black and metallic too. i saw an F430 flat black with metallic in some places. like places that u had to look at twice. a few times i was like "wo wait, it's shiny there" and then i'd look again haha thats hot though.
my favorite color right now is the color scheme of that Lambo Reventon. sexy.
Thats not a flat black zonda. Its carbon fiber, its the lighting. Look at the fenders and parts of the hood. Its the zonda F. Perhaps with a BASF satin clear however.

If you look at my post I never said it was "flat black."
