Give me both! Give me the S63 for an everyday luxury cruiser that can leave many sports cars in its dust. Give me the 997 turbo for exotic car level weekend driving without the exotic car price.

EV ftw!!!
These guys testing cars like the S63 on a track have more time on their hands than gray matter in their skulls ...
Excuse me while I take out my pet elephant (on steriods) to the race course to compete against a race horse.

You have to admit though for car of size and mass, it does a very good job of performing like a sports car all while retaining all of the luxury of a regular S-class.

Probably going from my experience at altitude. Porsche turbos of any kind have considerably much more lag up here (that goes for any turbocharged vehicle), however AMGs that have shown up at my track kick in immediately.

These aren't your typical turbos. Do you know what VTG is?

Variable Turbine Geometry, my favorite kind of turbos.
I remember this track day that Porsche had just a little while back, http://porschepuebla.homestead.com/news25.html
However, as they comment the turbo lag isn't nearly gone, and up here in a 1/4 mile race, that can mean a lot.
Still, both are two fine cars.
P.S. I have had Americans and Mexicans from northern Mexico literally cry when they race at the 1/4 mile track we have or even here at Hermanos Rodriguez...they can't believe their crappy times.

P.S. what kind of times do you usually see at your altitude?
