Default Toyota Corolla pricing.....

Someone I assume sells or purchased the 2007 corolla...

My mother in law is in the process of buying an 07 corolla new for
$15745 with a $500 rebate ....tax/registration/title out the door for $16992
No sales rep. as my buddy knew the general manager ...

From what i have found locally this seems like a good deal... no salesman involved.
model ce
indigo blue pearl
power locks / windows / cd in dash
mats
auto
immobilizer security... (might be standard)

I helped her locate a dealer in the CT. area who would get this price
since most wanted alot more... Should I be working harder to get more off??

No money down... she is getting a loan through her credit union and the GM ordered the car with no $.. from another dealer... vin was supplied to get bank check..
Is the amount a decent deal or should I be pushing for more off??

Isn't that high for a corolla?

I'm going to assume thats the one with the sport package, updated wheels, and spoiler?

17K for a CE Corolla? If your friend has real connections, the car would be priced at like 14K or something like that...that seems too expensive to me. A base CAMRY is only another 2 grand. She should be into an S or LE for that much.

+1

For those options without the I guess *sport* version of the corolla... 14.5k would be best.

the price of her car is 15745 b4 taxes etc. I believe Toyota is offering a $500 rebate which they are applying to the after assesing taxes.

I can't find any Northeast dealers selling 07's for $14500?? Should I just tell them that she will not pay anymore than $14700?

I bought a 2006 LE with added anti-lock brakes, side curtain airbags, the upgraded audio with cruise control, weather guard package and floor mats for $16,295 (+TT&L) last January.

Your price for a CE without options doesn't sound too good to me.

Do they still make that CE model with just 3speed auto transmission as before? If so, then the price is a little too high. CE model used to be cheaper than that. When I got my 2003 Corolla LE before, I got it for $14,290 out the door (that includes all tax and registration charges). Of course, the price got higher for Corolla in 2007, but not that much.

Northeast dealer invoice is 15322 which is what they are selling it to me for... also the $500 rebate...
I did see lower invoice price on the net but my mother in law wants to deal with a dealership
We can live with 14822 + tax/title/reg out the door..

Thanks for the advice...
