Honest unbiased yay or nay needed.
I come around here at least once a week and read posts. You guys have some very nice cars. While I do perfer my Impala for personal reasons I do enjoy looking at a great GS and would get a used one if anything happed to my beater.
So I figured I'd ask you all this question.
(WHOOPS)
This color. Yay or nay. It is the same car and same paint taken from different angles and with sunlight or regular interior lights.
Thanks in advance.

I think the question is which one of the Impala SS colors is best?...and if we like that one.
If my memory is right, on the old rear-drive Impala SS ( which was discontinued in 1996 ) there was one original color...back......and then two others added......gray and the dark cherry red you posted.
Personally, I thought the car looked best in black, but I don't care, myself, for the problems associated with black...heat, scratches, constant washing, everything showing up, etc....and I'm not a fan of gray either, so if I had my choice, I would take the color you posted.

That is the same car. Those are the colors of the single paint job.
Impalas came in black, dark cherry and a dark green gray.
I have one that is painted Black Kryptonite. It is black with green in the color. It changes based on sunlight, view positon, etc. Subtle but nice. See homepage for more info.

The pictures that I showed are of a color that my painter mixed for a friend of mine. It isn't totally dark cherry. There is brown, black, and a hint of silver pearl that turned goldish. He's a chemist!
My BLACK KRYPTONITE is a mixture of black and green. When I saw it on the car I instantly name it BLACK KRYPOTNITE. I was yelling at the time. It is also the name for my car. Here are a few pictures of my car. It has since been lowered a few inches.
What I started with
In Commerce GA on a could-less day. The Kryptonite really shows. Paint was 3 days old.
In Commerce GA with a little Kryptonite showing on the front of the fender.
Before Dusk in Michigan. It's harder to see the Kryptonite
New Stance

Front After (dirty)

And I love what is befitting for an Impala SS.
Thanks again for all of the honest feedback. I appreciate it.
Now if I could get you guys to trade me a 2000 GS for my 2000 Chevy Cavalier... We could be best friends!
