Nissan GTR
"Work is continuing on Nissan’s eagerly-awaited GT-R super coupe which is still on place to make its world debut at the 2007 Tokyo Motor Show next October.
Nissan chief Carlos Ghosn has confirmed that the new GT-R will be built at Nissan’s Tochigi factory in Japan, with the engine sourced out of Nissan’s Yokohama plant. Even at this late stage of the game, with the finished car less than 12 months away, and with mules widely seen testing at Germany’s Nürburgring (see above and links below), a thick blanket of secrecy still hangs over the exact spec of the new GT-R, and insiders say only a small handful of top Nissan people really know the car’s engine capacity for sure.
Japan’s well connected grapevine, however, remains convinced the new GT-R will run with a 3.7-liter DOHC twin-turbo V6, producing around 450 brake horsepower and torque of 366 pound-feet."(Courtesy of Winding Road)

Nissan GTR: 3.7 L V6-TT (450 hp) - $70k USD (guestimation)
Porsche 977 Turbo: 3.6 L F6-T (480 hp) - $120k USD
One thing I have a feeling the GTR will cost the same price as the basic 997, but the same performance as the Turbo, which will be pretty amazing.
One thing I wonder how many people will buy the GTR, probably a lot. I bet all the Nissan 350Z drivers will be selling their cars for this massive speed demon.
One thing I am wondering if you had the choice, which one would you go for? Me... I'd probably still go for the Porsche.

IS-F (sometime Q4 2007)
GTR (sometime in 2008), which the LF-A should be out in 2008 also.
One thing I am wondering is the new GTR going to be a 2-seater or a 2+2?
One thing when the GTR comes out it will be an interesting year ...
- Honda NSX [MY 2009]
- Nissan GTR [MY 2009]
- Lexus LF-A [MY 2009]
- BMW Z10 [MY 2009]
- Audi R8 [MY 2008]
- Mercedes Benz SL [MY 2008]
- Aston Martin DBS9 [MY 2008]
Probably be able to compete against these models which will be out-dated and probably going to be remodeled...
- Porsche 997 Turbo (998 supposably by 2009/10)
- Lamborghini Gallardo (who knows what will happen in the next couple of years, probably add more horsepower)
- Ferrari F430 (V10 version by 2009)
One thing the market is going to be flooded by 2010.
