I think it's a good looking car, but more like the less popular little sister of the Infiniti. Lexus also has a lot of similarity running through all the models with l-finesse and some of the design lines are also is apparent in the Toyota lines too ... although not quite as apparent as the Altima / G35 pictured here in most cases (think Solara vert and SC430 although currently not a true l-finesse car I think).

I think the new Altima will be a good car for buyers looking for a budget sporty car with a strong motor / 6-speed option. Although if I owned a G35 I can't say I would be happy with the similarity.

I'll take it over the current Solara!
The Solara has a nicer interior tho.

It looks pretty good. It looks more like a scion TC more than anything. It does have some current gen g35 coupe cues though. Not a bad thing...i would definitely not mistake one of those for a G coupe though. My friends' impressions of the altima coupe from the la autoshow is that it doesnt looks at all like a G. They say it looks alot smaller in person. Its a good alternative to the solara and accord coupe

I've owned 2 current G35's and It doesn't look anything like a G35 IMO- it does have some cues of infiniti's but looks more scion-ish to me.. I have a '06 G35 coupe - and I'm not pissed... I'm happy - makes my car look better.. HA!!

I didn't know SC430 owners disliked the Solara. Have there been any threads on the subject?
