I don't think unpaint CF bumper suit for an IS since the IS is a HIGH CLASS LUXURY SPORT COUPE not like EVO or STi, in my opinion the Element 114 kit doesn't look good at all...

And how does this serve any performance addition? Are you implying that you know how that particular bumper is made? There are tons of companies out there that make CF this, CF that, but only a small portion really spend the time to make it light. A lot of the times companies that produce these CF bumpers, make it so that it's just as heavy, and even heavier than stock.

IMO, if they don't prove that it's lighter than stock (which I highly doubt), it is _rice_.

That CF has got to be the fugliest thing that I have ever seen, why on earth would you ever do that to your car???

I just cannot get into the look of unpainted CF on black (especially with heavy chrome everywhere), or most any other color save for a few exceptions. Accent pieces like lips and such are ok, but otherwise I'd pass.

I have to agree with other here, IMHO that CF on black looks super tacky and ricey, belch!

However that second red IS is fantastic! I love the paint details and the under hood detailing.

Cheers!

ThoLe-

That's looking fast just standing still........

But CF on a Lex just looks rice to me. It bleeds of "look at me....I'm a fast car.....and my driver is 17 years old.....wanna date me?"

The black IS in this thread is stupid ugly.......the red, minus the sponsors is looking sharp. I'm not fond of those wheels, but other than that very classy.

they are all tacky in at least one aspect. whether it be C/F body parts, ugly tacky wheels, lack of any grill emblem, stickers galore.

proper wheels minor drop front lip and blitz grill is all this car will ever need aesthetically.

well..we don't know if the car is fast or not. I can understand all that carbon fiber on a fast car, but the chrome and grill needs to go. I think that car is just showcasing the possibilities, more so than a finished product. This fast and the furious bolt on ishh is so 2005. We need more stealthy products, products that draw less attention and are more functional.

Sure let's compare a $200-$400k+ Pagani REAL Sports car to a Luxury "Sports" Sedan that has more Luxury than Sport in it. The fact is, a lot of us made remarks about the aesthetics and not anything about performance. Geniune CF doesn't really make that much of a difference. You can put a huge GT wing on a Skyline for example but putting one on an IS would be absurd.

i showed the zonda pic because it looks good w/ carbon fiber parts. I agreed that it looks better w/ the paint match.
