Why would Lexus need or want to create a V6 version of their flagship toy (their lone coupe). That's like an LS350. For what?? There's a reason MB and BMW dont have V6 options for their SL or 650 here in the states. Possibly in Europe that may work but not here. An IS coupe/converible with an V6 is perhaps desirable but not your prized toy. I definitely have no desire for it and felt this way prior to owning this current model.

Yes Lexus, please Keep the LX nameplate!!!

Wouldn't that be the IS hardtop convertible?

I think the LF-A will be the new SC (a true "sports coupe")... Discuss.

OTOH, I would like to see Lexus offer a new 4 seater coupe like the Mercedes CL Class.
same here, i wouldn't need to see a SC with rear seats, don't see the car as the car is not for "practicality" to begin with. just make another larger one like the CL as andrew suggested

That would be nice! Those run-flats are such a ride-killer.

I too hope the SC can turn into a larger coupe that comfortably seats 4 and offers some meaningful trunk space, and let the LF-A be the true 2-seater sports car.

And then, they will still need a roadster to compete with the SLK and the Z4.

Jeez..why does it need such a big engine... Torque?

All the European cars have V6s in their luxury flagship vehicles.. just not here.

Those soccer moms can get pretty aggressive sometimes. Of course, only on the way to pick up their kids or after they've dropped them off.

I've always wondered what those two rear "seats" are for. Besides being the butt end of jokes. All the reasons I've heard seem to be just speculation or just total BS. Didn't really look into it though.
