All nice cars, that debaged 5 series with the diffuser looks sick. Although dont get me wrong the gx470 is nice, I would have stayed with the X5, or went with the LX. The GX for some reason reminds me of a mitsubishi fuso, I think its the GX's rear.

 

Hah, I agree - 5 series and the GS. Hard to beat the 5-series.

may be both BMW's are running out of warrenty so its time up to trade them in.. after having 5 BMW's I personally would not keep one without factory warrenty regardless of how good they look..

I would've love to stayed with BMWs. But, they didn't give me much choice!!

I just can not stand Bangle designed 5-series... ugliest car on the road!!
And, my kids are getting bigger and bigger!
I need something larger then X5!

But, most of all....
after driving 5 BMWs in a row.... I wanted to try something else...

Well, let me drive it a little longer... I only had these cars for just over a week!

But, I must say that I definately gave up performance when I decide to switch to Lexus!!
I won't even waste time comparing the performance espects of the two!!

Let me put it this way....

BMW!! Built to out perform others!!
Lexus!! Built for drivers comfort!!

No regrets so far!!!

 

Another convert doing exactly what I have said. New BMWs appeal vastly to new owners. Previous owners run away from the Bangle BMWs

 

Congrats. As much as we all debate on various car forums about BMW, MB, and Lexus, they are all great cars. My personal choice would have been a 5 and GX, as that 5 series is one of the best sport sedans of all time. And, the GX provides all the utility you would need. Now if you could have 3 cars, keep the X.

 

I like your choices. I prefer the GX to all the other SUVs in BMW or Lexus stables. It's big enough, yet doesn't look as dated as the LX. Not a fan of new bimmers or their SUVs (or MB's SUVs for that matter). Good look for your garage!

 

I like the current garage better overall, but would have kept the previous generation 5 series even if I have to park the SUV outside.
It makes me sad when I see the previous 5 series compared to the current fugly one which I can never get used to . . .

 

Trust me! You do not want to keep BMWs after the factory warraty expires!!
