NSX all the way, as mention, such a timeless classic.

Good responses guys. More nods to the Acura. I must admit I'm surprised.

I personally would have to go NSX, cause:

Sexy as a ****.
As mentioned, Timeless & EXOTIC design.
Reliabilty like NO other exotic.
Quite comfortable even though it's low as hell.
Just fast enough to be a contender! Sure a C6 vette is faster but which will get valleted closer?

I think the NSX looks seriously dated. The latest with the headlights and more trim bits just doesn't do it for me. But the DRIVE is wonderful. One minor thing is the funky footwell on the NSX - it's very cramped.

I think I'd save a bit more and get a Caymen.

After finally being able to get certified in teh USA for import (and really just as a show car), you will pay near $500,000 for one.....

Thus the NSX vs 911 debate.

I personally would get the NSX. I'm at the point where my brother will be picking up my NSX in a few days. He actually bought it last year but has been paying me in installments. Since I sold it to him last year I've been trying hard to find another car that has the same bang for the buck, looks, reliability, and fun factor that I've enjoyed with the NSX. Over the past year I keep coming back to just buying another NSX. The only other car I would consider is the Porsche Caymam. However it is still a lot more expensive. Now if you want to talk about $100K + cars than of course I'd buy a used Ferrari 360

I still think the NSX is the most beautiful car ever produced, bar none. It is the very definition of a timeless design--contrary to what an earlier posted stated, I think it looks at hot and fresh today as it did in 1991. Add to that the reliability and drivability it is known for, and it truly unbeatable.

Maybe it's that new blue one I just don't like. Older ones without those horrible front lights look better. Like this one:

Or this:

Or this:

These all look lowered vs. that original post blue one too.

I'll step out there and also say that an NSX will turn more heads than a 911.

Outside of that, I can't really say any argument could be made that either is a lesser car, but I'd choose the NSX anyway, for how it changed "the supercar" of the time. The car just does not age, and while it may not be the fastest thing out there, its a discontinued icon; not that the 911 isn't also an icon, but the NSX represents something different that has a nice niche spot among its enthusiast. You won't go wrong with either.

Because the "Honda" changed the way car makes built exotic cars, by blending the lines between reliability, cost, refinement, innovation, ergonomics, and track performance.

That's a blind statement if I ever saw one. Honda doesn't have that kind of rep porsche has because Honda makes civics, accords, etc. Not your usual high performance sports cars like porsche. But that doesn't mean that a Honda is always going to be inferior to porsche. Anyone that has driven an nsx knows that it isn't just some beefed up honda prelude or such.

I hope that statement is a joke, and not a serious one.

NSX is like the Acura RL (Honda Legend) solid reviews, everyone tells YOU to buy it on the internet, but won't buy it themselves. All ya'll would get the 911 instead, lol.....

Not hating on the NSX at all but this is the brands problem, at the price 95% of the people bought the 911 or other established car, thus the NSX was discontinued due to no sales.

Honestly speaking I can't say one drives better than the other, not sure I would even push either car like that often. 911 is an icon though, a "Porsche", THE sports car.

The NSX is incredible and you are correct, put the Europeans back to the drawing board.

Oh hell, can't go wrong with either!!!!

Well, the NSX was never meant to be a sales success, it was Honda's low volume halo car, that meant more for marketing, that it did for profitability in and of itself. Seeing as how it outlived the other japanese sports cars of the time in the US, I'd say it did what it had to do well.
