Default Porsche question

Not sure how to ask this what happens when the 999 comes out, god only knows when what number will they use. Seeing they are using the 997 right now and in 2008 or 09 it will be the 998.

I haven't heard an internal number for the next 911 yet. The Flat 6 is at its displacement peak, 3.8 liters. The rumors of the eventual V-8 911 could be true.......

IMO, they will figure out how to get more power out the flat 6.....

2008/2009 will be the current 997....redesign not due till maybe 2012

very true, i hope they don't go v8 on the car, that almost takes away the whole spirit behind it.....

funny about the 996 and 997, etc... styling code. 999 is right around the corning, but then they can always start with 000?

They could always go flat 8. Ferrari used to make a flat 12.
