All Lexus's would come standard with the Mark Levinson soundsystem. You can choose which options you want. Also "Night View" could be an option for any Lexus.

What else do you think Lexus should do. For basic standards and fixing the options and what not, when buying their product.

I have a feeling there a thread like this already, but not sure which section its in anymore.

More color options and the 19s from the LS460 should be available on the IS350 and GS430/GS460 and the SC430. They also need a special order program like mercedes where you can order colors or grades of wood or wheels or wheel finishes from one model on another.

ML systems are nice, but they are not "necessary." Lexus stock sound systems are actually pretty sufficient under the luxury category. Most people won't be able to tell the difference; only music afficionados that listen to "real music," not "noise."

Night vision is not that necessary for 90% of buyers of Lexus, who are people who buy them as a status symbol to look good in very metropolitan/urban areas. Who needs night vision when you're cruising on Hollywood Blvd or Times Square? I doubt that people who have an LS or GS will be going off road into dark forests frequently...

My main point, sometimes it's best to keep the cars simple. Technology is nice, but not everyone uses a cell phone or iPod, not do they need park assist or automatic parallel park in their garage, nor do they need to spend the $5k in options it takes to make something standard for all Lexus cars.

I'll keep that cash for mods, thank you very much!

One thing would be nice if Lexus had an in house customizer in certain cities to change the car around, if you want to spend extra cash.

Car companies are probably making more money selling options than they are selling cars, so I don't think these options will become standard any time soon.

I wish Lexus as well as every other manufacturer would stop intergrating everything together. I really don't like the way the IS radio/display is seperate, how the navigation screen controlls the AC and radio functions and such. It makes it difficult to upgrade to aftermarket units if/when wanted. I also hate the trend where they bundle options in packages. Sometimes I just want HID lights but don't need/want everything that comes in the Premium Plus package. Sometimes I want aluminum pedals but want wood trim. Anyway, I just hate that you can no longer get a car exacly they way you want but have to settle for what is available in packages or in your region only.

One thing rear heated seats as standard or option would be nice in all models! One thing should be standard is HID headlights.

Canada its totally bundled into everything. You can not choose what you want and dont want, it just be easier if Lexus just people choose what they wanted for an option.

More standard is good. Acura does that. But for some features (ML), exclusivity is needed.

The GX470 also. Yet the LS460 wont had it as Standard which is ackward.

One thing it would be nice to have an in-house Lexus customizer. For those diehard Lexus fans who want to burn extra money. For custom turbo charges and etc. If you want a IS350 but two door, hard top convertible pay an x-amount of money to get it done. Would be interesting to see Lexus go that far. God only knows how much that would cost. If you like some feature from another car, they would install it in the model you have, etc. If not in-house, they contact someone from Lexus HQ to come to the dealership to speak with you, on what you want too do.
