Ceramic tint = fake?
I went to 3 different tinters yesterday asking for ceramic tint and they all looked at me as if i had 3 eyes. Can anyone tell me some brand names for ceramic tint?
What are your opinions on Llumar($240), Solargard($250) and 3m tinting? ($229) on an IS350 7 windows. Looking to do around 35% all the way around

Ceramic tint is supposed to have the optical clarity of dyed film tint and better than metallic heat rejection.
Try www.tintdude.com
He meant ceramic.
I had it installed in my truck so the antenna for my autostart won't be effected by the metal tint. I am having it installd in my GS300's rear window so the antenna won't be effected.
Metallics will mess with the range of your antenna. Ceramics are high end tints that are not metallic and will not turn purple with age.
