Default Hmmmm what to do.....

We get our original 07 Camry back Friday with a new Tranny till our new one is shipped from the factory on the 22nd of this month.

But my G35 now is showing its age and I am upset at the dealer. My driver seat is starting to tear on the left back bolster. The dealer refuses to cover it under warranty. They had the Regional REP come in and look and he also refused to have it repaired. I am so freaking pissed. I know Lexus/Toyota would fix it without any questions asked!!

The G35 has 25k of hard (racing/daily driving 100 miles) and it has really never given me any issues. But I kinda want to get a automatic car now and strongly looking at Lexus/Toyota. i want to seddle down now and not worry about modding a car anymore or racing. I can buy a separate car for that.

My eyes are on the IS and ES cars. I am just really not sure what kind of deal I can get on my 05 G35 Sedan 6mt with Sunroof and Sport Package. And how much I can get a nicely equiped IS350 for out the door or even a ES. I am use to RWD so I rather have a IS.

That is unacceptable.

Unless you play w/ utility knives in the car and this tear is a result of it; there's a definate material or workmanship issue w/ the upholstry if it's breaking down in under 2 years.

It's not even a tear. More of a WEAR marks. Where the area of Vinyl is leaking its fibers through.

At 20K I had both front seats replaced in my 1991 Supra because of cracking - actually might have even been closer to 30K.

But honestly, I don't think you will like driving an ES or IS as a daily driver. You have an edgy car there and a fun one at that. Something tells me you will get bored with the Lexus product really quick.

Last but not least, finding someone to take a stick G35 sedan off your hands without getting killed is going to be a real challenge.

I would take pictures and send them to Nissan corporate - explain that Lexus would cover this and therefore there is no reason for Infiniti to take the low road.
