Just got my July 06 issue of Car and Driver. There is a comparo test of the C6 Corvette and the New Shelby GT500 Mustang. As many of you know, the C6 Vette is a N/A 400 horse beast, while the Shelby GT500 Stang is a Supercharged 500 horsepower banshee. The C6 Vette outperformed the Stang in almost every test except 50-70 passing just losing to the Stang by 3 tenths of a second. Ok, here are the numbers. C6 Vette numbers are to the left.

The C6 Vette is an amazing machine. Lets just say that LS2 motor with the 6 speed is amazing

 

LOL...a whole 100 extra horsepower, and it still didnt win. What a shame.

 

Too me it's has always been Chevy > Ford.

Even with boost, the Stang can't out perform the Vette. Back on the trailor for the Stang This GT500 is supposed to be on par with the 505 horsepower Z06 Vette and can't beat the base Vette

 

ahhh thats funny. stick it to the mustang. i just don't like 'em... but corvettes... gotta love those. one of the very very very few american cars i'd actually own.
