I think enigma/encore888 used to have a sig with all the LS's, I think he may have the higher-res. version too ...

What is just amazing is the LS has evolved into serious German competition, now with multiple versions/wheelbases etc. In comparison, the 2 other Japanese luxury brands simply failed or missed this market.

I don't think people realize how TOUGH this market is to crack and it is simply AMAZING how well received the LS is to this day. You simply cannot make a sedan in this class and expect it to sell.

The LS has stayed true to the Lexus vision of top notch luxury. Kudos!

Thx for remembering, yes I did have a sig with different Lexus models, however not all were LS. But that gives me an idea...

Quote: I never cared much for the first gen LS, other than it being such an important car for Lexus, but that car is stunning
thanks! i can't believe it's been over 2 years since those pics! It's still trucking along with over 240k on the clock now. I've got some '03 GS sport design rims that are going on it this week!
anyone know a good place to get the chrome front and rear "L" emblems? No more gold - gotta match up those new rims!

Sometimes I wish I had bought a 95-00 LS400 instead of my GS.

The LS is certainly a car that doesn't ever get old. Hell, most Lexus's don't. The 1ES still looks stunning if maintained correctly. Lexus has a knack for ageless machines

As for the 2nd LS, Lexus admits it listened to customers TOO much as the styling was much too similar to the previous version until the 98 REfresh.

Great read! (can't believe I haven't seen this thread before).

Aliti19, that is a very well kept LS400!
