That's good to hear. I had a '98 Expedition and it was always in for repairs. Hope the American manufacturers can continue to improve.

LOL. First, the latest (NC) '06/'07 Miata is roomier than older ones. Second, the Miata is not my 'long distance' car so I can put up with it not being as roomy for short runs. Third, many SUVs have cramped very upright front seats so they can make the 2nd or 3rd rows even feasible let alone tolerable. Of course the Miata ONLY has front seats and being low one's legs go straight out and it's not too bad. Even the RX300 I used to have was pretty uncomfortable for me for long runs because my right leg had to be pressed into the center console even with the seat back as far as it would go. I'm not a giant, but I do have long legs.

The Explorer's front seats though seem to go back a MILE on the rails, even more than I need. One downside to this is the ends of the front rails are exposed if the seat is WAY back which doesn't look too nice but for the comfort I'll take it!
