Hard to say which version was roomier...they are both roomy full-size trucks inside. The new version, though, with the electric-adjustable foot pedals and the multi-way power bucket seats, makes better use of what room you DO have, though. The woodgrain as far as I could tell was not real, but was good-looking and exuded an air of luxury...if it was not for the Chevy bow-tie on the steering wheel you would think the dash came out of a Lexus ES330. Too bad most of the rest of the interior......and the paint job except for the Bermuda Blue......... was the same old GM cheapness.
