I only back in to all my parking spaces.

Its just easier to leave, I only pull forward if I need to load up the trunk.

I hate backing in or out - I prefer to pull through. Is this illegal, since it looks like you backed up?

I'll park further away if I can just pull through - it's great exercise.

I believe there is a rule on all Girl Scout properties (like camps and regional offices) that says you MUST park face out. It is a safety rule to allow quicker and safer exit in case of emergency. That makes a lot more sense than the other.
