Moose Was Put To Sleep

(CBS) LEOMINSTER, MA A bizarre scene of machine versus animal occurred just north of Boston Friday night after a car plowed into a moose.

The accident happened in Leominster, Masschusetts, where a car plowed into the 500-pound animal only to have it somehow spin around and sit trapped in the passenger seat. It's head was seen sticking out of the broken windshield, stuck.

The driver of the car amazingly only suffered some minor cuts to her face.

Animal control officials tried to release the moose into a remote part of the forest but he turned out to be too injured and was put down.

Thats a shame for that beautiful animal.I hate to see stuff like that.

Terrible story with the exception that the woman escaped with minor physical injuries (mentally who knows).

 

aw poor thing, how would you try to release something like that from the car? Um yes Geico representative, what is your coverage policy of moose in the windshield?

 

LOL....how in the hell did it end up inside the car like that??
