Everybody knows Hondas and Acuras get stolen all the time... but what are the chances of someone stealing a Lexus? I never really heard about it...so now Im asking

 

I think our cars get vandalized more than stolen. I might be wrong though. I never really looked at those statistics for Lexus vehicles as far as being stolen.

 

lexus arent widespread as those two for the import car market, stolen rate is probably a great deal less.

 

honda and acuras have high stolen rate coz' of the sharing parts, etc... especially a lot of acuras they are honda based (or used to), so people steal them for parts on honda

lexus stolen rate i think is relatively ok

but the camry and corolla, i rmeember reading that their stolen rate is relatively high too

all about demand

 

The cars that are more likely to get stolen, are those that you see everyday. Something that is very common.

The people that steal the car, are likely to take it to a chop-shop, and sell the parts. The more common the car, the easier it is to sell.
