The Sheriff's Department impounded the shredded remains of the Ferrari as evidence. But Brooks said he retrieved one souvenir from the side of the road.
"I have the mirror from the car," he joked. "It's shattered, but I think it's worth $5,000. I'm going to hang onto it."
You're not supposed to steal evidence sir!

haha there were small bits of that enzo all over the place -- I went there this afternoon with a friend and found that and a bunch of random CF pieces/flakes... but there were also a few people stopping to examine the scene -- malibu may have a put a sign up marking the last resting place of 1 Ferrari Enzo It could turn into a tourist attraction!
He actually found part of the tail light lens... there wasn't anything up indicating it was a crime scene, so I think I'm safe

Ferrari kill story...
More like a "suicide" I guess! Single car accident, the guy walked away from this. Yes, that was an ENZO!!
Estimated speed of around 120-160 mph and hit a power pole. The guy tried to claim he was not the driver (although it is his car) but that he was in the passenger seat while someone named "Dietrich" was driving-and then ran away after the crash. Yeah, right!
I'm guessing his insurance rates are going up....
