Wow, first off, I've never seen an Enzo with mesh wheels.
Second, the car split b/c while carbon fiber is tougher and lighter than steel, its so rigid that is simply shatters in a crash, instead of bending like metal. That is why you see exotics broken in pieces like this.

Like this guy honestly thinks he's never gonna be found?!?!?! How many Enzo's were ever even made lol. I saw this this morning and come to post on it but looks like someone beat me to it. Those bodies are meant to break away in the case of an accicent (e.g. NASCAR and Indy cars) so that the passenger compartment stays intact and the least amount of stress is put on that part of the car. For going 200 mph and the driver being able to run away I'd say thats pretty awesome. Most likely this car was stolen, because with so few Enzo's ever made, it would be virtually impossible to evade the police from finding the true owner. It souds like the passenger got knocked out, and the driver left him hanging out to dry while booking it on his own.
This could only get better if it was Britney Spears driving with her kid on her lap again, or Paris Hilton putting her foot on the gas thinking that was the brake.

Three people in a two seater? Ha, looks like someone is afraid of owning up to being the driver.
