LOL, this looks better than the current one, IMO. Should continue to sell well. And to its versitility as you stated.

The Avalanche was around long before the Ridgeline.

This new generation reflects the styling changes made to the Chevy truck line for 2007. I don't think it has anything to do with Honda. If anything it's the other way around.

I like it. Styling looks good, and the only plastic cladding I really see is around the bed. IIRC the previous one had a lot more around the entire body. Neighbor used to have one but they moved away.



^ that's the old one. New one definitely looks a ton better.

As for the Ridgeline, the only resemblance I see is that it has 4 doors and is also a truck (sorta). Besides that they look totally different. I wouldn't be surprised if Honda discontinues the Ridgeline though. Base price is way too expensive, they're not really fooling anybody about it being a "truck", and GM's newer full-sized SUVs make significantly more power with V8s, have far more capability, and also get the same or better mileage as the V6-only Ridgeline.
