Hey guy's, i just bought my 02 GS430 about two months ago from Mclean Auto Imports in VA. The problem is i still have temporary tags becasue of some issue that they do not have the title for the car or they are still waiting for it. These are the second set of temporary tags.The guy said that i am not the only customer that has this issue. The guy that sold me the car doesn't work there anymore and supposedly was handling these title situations. Now, the owner is telling me that they have attorneys involved in the matter and i should be getting a call from them or either the Department of Motor Vehicles. He said that he has spent a numerous amount of money on this situation. I don't know what to do because my current temporary tags are about to expire. The dealership is small and independent and they never call me to keep me updated on anything, i always call him and he tells me the same thing of how it will be resolved in a little while. So i don't know if i can expect a call from the attorneys or not. Do you guy's know what could be going on? What should i do?

It is REALLY illegal for them to sell you a car that they don't have the title for. You may want to contact an attorney yourself.
