Default smog check help

hey guys, so my old beater car failed its smog check. the NO count is like 500 pts too high and im just figuring what can i do to lower it more. i retard the timing almost as much as possible. my friend said to use the smog check passer additive, fuel injector cleaner, and octane booster. i just need it to pass smog right now.

anyting i can do to help it pass. i dont wanna spend 100 bucks at this place to just pass it. tomorrow im going to do an oil change put in all the additive and drive it around until almost empty then fill it to half tank then taking it to the smog center.

anything that you guys think could help, please let me know im open to suggestion right now.

Take your car into a repair shop and have it fixed. If the cost is more than the car is worth, buy another car that's smog legal. If you can't afford another car, consider car pools, and or public transportation.
