Haha... I can't wait for C&D to get their hands on the new Camry. It'll probably do 5.7s from 0 to 60mph.

C&D did pull off 5.6 on the Altima/Maxima, so I wouldn't be suprised if they did it for the new Camry...

I doubt Maxima did it becasue on the comparo with the avalon and maxima, with other cars, the avalon was the fastest

I remember seeing a 5.9 sec run with the Altima, but thats with the Manual. The Autos were mid 6 sec cars.(off the top of my head)

I remember C & D got 6.1 sec.0-60 for the Maxima, & that's the fastest I' ve seen published for that car . . .

Not surprising. Put Car and Driver's Brock Yates in almost anything and you'll shave off 0-60 times. He was a madman behind the wheel from Day One and always will be.

The rest of C & D' s staff is a little more sedate.

Nissan has been advertising the Maxima with 268 hp and 5.6 sec (with a disclaimer saying that C&D did it) for the past couple of months. The commercial basically states three things: V6, 268 hp, and 5.6 sec. Then the car drives off. Anyone else has seen it?

I havent seen it but i highly doubt 5.6 because the more powerful 350z cant even do that.

and with an auto, the maxima at best gets 6.1s.

0.83 G Skidpad

I know you guys are impressed with the acceleration numbers but what's more impressive to me is the skidpad number. If I remember correctly the Cayenne and the FX are the only other SUVs that have better skidpad numbers and we all know how much more these two SUVs cost.

Please Lexus give us a better handling RX350 and I'll be first in line to buy one.
