I just saw the commercial for the new mazdaspeed6.... looks like a cool car with ugraded everything and a turbo just wondering what you guys thought about this? The car has 274 HP not to bad for that little car.....

Because of its AWD, some people are trying to compare it to the Evo and STI......but it is not quite in the same category as those two smaller cars. The MazdaSpeed 6 is a somewhat larger car than either of those two, with a slightly smaller power-to-weight ratio and a little more refinement. It is a far better daily driver and will not beat you up on rough roads quite as much either....the Evo, especially, has a rock-hard chassis and suspension.

 

I personally think its ugly. The performance sounds great, but its a little wierd for me.

I rather the Legacy GT, which I think is a better competitor to the MSP6 than the EVO or STI.

 

ditto. The Legacy GT would be the competitor of the Mazdaspeed 6. But my main concern is Mazda's lack of experience with performance AWD. Will the Mazda service people know what they're doing? I heard that when the FD RX-7 was still around, the dealerships didn't know much of what they were doing with that car.

Plus, the Legacy has a much better aftermarket support

 

That M6 looks like a Volvo from what I saw. Not a fan at all. They should have kept the old design.

 

Whats the HP in the legacy? I think i've seen that car on a commercial but for got what it looks like.... Yea they should have put the turbo in the RX-8 because thats much more of a sporty car ...
